How to Develop a Study Plan For Learning English
How to Develop a Study Plan For Learning EnglishA study plan for learning English is a highly useful tool to develop English proficiency. It is easy to come up with a plan that is appropriate for you. However, you should remember that it must be kept on the right track if you want to have maximum benefit from it.There are lots of things that you can do in order to formulate a plan for learning English. First, you should know the fact that the need to learn English goes well beyond the internet. You must be aware that the world of information is very vast and wide. So, you should first get a clear idea about what is required of you before choosing a study plan for learning English.Secondly, you should know that there are several options available to you. If you study English for more than six months, then you can enroll yourself for further education courses or a Master's degree program. However, if you cannot afford to do so, then you can always do a couple of years as a full-time le arner. However, before you make a plan for studying English, you should understand how important it is to choose the best option available. The one who makes a study plan for learning English should understand the requirements of the learner and the goal of the learner. Then, the learner should decide what are the various tasks that are required. Then, he/she should identify the learning methods that are appropriate to him.For instance, there are two main methods available in English language learning which are online and traditional classroom style. However, if you choose an online method, you should ensure that you use your laptop for all your learning activities. This will help you have easy access to the English language wherever you go and whenever you want. But if you choose a traditional classroom method, then you must find out what are the resources that are available for use in your area. Some places even provide the Internet connection to the learners. And if you find any we bsite where you can access the English language, then it will be a perfect time to learn English. In fact, you can even study English online at your own pace. You just need to be sure that your study materials are updated on a regular basis. You can also choose different kinds of sites where you can review or refresh your knowledge on a particular topic. So, you can actually choose any option that suits your need the best. Then, you should also check whether the teaching methods offered by these sites are compatible with your learning style. For instance, if you are the type of learner who prefers to work on your own, then you can select a traditional classroom method where the teacher sits in front of the students and tries to impart some English based instructions.

How to Survive N00bdom in League of Legends
How to Survive N00bdom in League of Legends League of Legends is quite the challenging game, but as with all things, it just takes time. Photo by marckvision on Flickr. League of Legends is an immensely popular free-to-play combat strategy game with 32 million monthly active players. As a PC gamer, its almost impossible to avoid LoL, as its usually called, but I didnt want to become hooked on a game that takes about 45 minutes per match during the school year, so I started learning to play LoL just a week ago. And thats when I discovered how very unfriendly the League of Legends community can be. stop feeding the enemy u ****ing n00b, why are you even playing, and (my username) so good, wtf go die are all milder comments that Ive received while playing. Needless to say, its not easy being a n00b in the LoL community. Here are some tips on how to survive n00bdom which Ive learned after a week or so of intense playing and improvement from n00b to a somewhat not horrible player. 1. Do your homework The internet is your best friend! Before you start playing, do a bit of reading and learn about how the game is played because the in-game tutorial is horrible. I suggest this guide which has a bunch of terms and basic ideas that you want to know. When you know what champion (character) youd like to play, find build guides written by pro players usually with strategies on how to best win a game with your character. Watch livestreams or Youtube videos of pro players or spectate some games from the LoL client itself and take some tips. League of Legends is a difficult game to understand, so a bit of homework goes a long way. (Yes, I know its summer, but its for a purpose!) A Tryndamere cosplayer at Pax Prime 2012. Photo by getdarwin on Flickr. 2. Play with a friend if possible If you can, grab a buddy who knows how to play LoL. They can give you friendly pointers on what to improve and show you the ropes. Most importantly, if other players start verbally harassing you, they will stand up for you. A lot of the negativity in the LoL community is because players dont stick up for each other. If a friend says, theyre new, give them a break or we all have bad days, it happens, players are much more likely to back off than if you try to defend yourself. Also the game is just a lot more fun with friends! 3. Play a lot of bot games Bot games or games against computer controlled champions are a great way to practice your skills. Theyre very low-key because most players play bot games for stress relief and practice, so theres not much pressure should you mess up. Playing bots is a great way to get accustomed to gameplay and to get used to a champion. PvP (player vs. player) games are much more stressful and players tend to get more riled up during them; they also require a lot more skill because humans are unpredictable. Id recommend not playing PvP until you have a grasp on basics such as last-hitting and general roles. 4. Tell people you are new LoL takes a lot of practice and patience. Photo by DrabikPany on Flickr. Dont be afraid to admit that you are new. Yes, some jerks will make fun of you, but most players are understanding if you let them know that you might need some help. A simple, Hey all, Im new so Im not very good at this game, but Ill try my best will let your teammates know that youll need extra protection and will let them know why you will be dying a lot. Otherwise, some players may try to report you for feeding, or letting the other team kill you so they win. If youve made an honest effort to show that you are new at the game and trying your best, thats usually well-appreciated. 5. Ignore Lets say a player wont stop harassing you about how youre such a n00b. The ignore button works wonders. Learn it. Love it. It will mute your teammate/enemy/frenemy(?) and youll no longer be able to see their spew of hate. I try to be cautious with this because the chat is very integral, but if they have nothing better to say than verbal abuse then anything they have to say about actual gameplay has no worth to me. 6. Report toxic players Make sure in the post-game stage to report verbal abuse or negative attitude. Always use the additional comments box to detail how they were a toxic player. This goes to the Tribunal, who review cases and try to make LoL a better community! Its okay to be a n00b, but it does attract a lot of negative attention and it does make it difficult to get better. But with time and a lot of practice, you too can safely escape the realm of n00bdom! Do you have your own tips? Let us know in the comments.

Tutor Time Livingston - How to Choose the Right Tutor Time Livingston
Tutor Time Livingston - How to Choose the Right Tutor Time LivingstonTutors come in all shapes and sizes, are they in person or online. At times, it may be difficult to choose a tutor time Livingston from the many offers that are available. It can be confusing and frustrating as a parent to choose the perfect tutor that can help your child learn the necessary skills. Here are some tips that can help you make an informed decision. One of the biggest differences between online tutors and face-to-face tutors is that a face-to-face tutor provides support directly to the student. This makes the tutoring experience a much more hands-on one. You have a face-to-face tutor that you can talk to while your child is receiving feedback. With an online tutor, you may not get that much control over the tutor's guidance and feedback. The second reason that it is important to make sure you compare multiple tutors before making a decision is because you want to be able to compare their tuition fees. Tui tion fees vary greatly depending on whether you are tutoring at home or at a local school. If you opt for a local school, this will be even more important because you will be paying the difference in tuition fees. For the same tutoring services, you will find it a bit more expensive for an online tutor versus a face-to-face tutor. In addition to comparison of tuition fees, consider the age group of the online tutors you are considering. The younger a student is, the less experience he or she will have with tutoring and might not be up to par for your child. Consider the tutor's level of experience and feedback that he or she has received in previous tutoring sessions.Another factor to consider is whether the online tutors that you are considering have worked with similar students in the past. Even if they seem to have plenty of experience, does this mean that they can provide tutoring that they have received in the past? Look for people who have been in your child's or teenager's cla ss for a long time. A lifetime of experience will be a big plus for your child.Do not forget to talk to the tutor about any additional fees for the tutoring session. It is true that tutoring services do charge a fee, but you should be sure that you are being charged only for the tutoring session. Most online tutors will also charge for extra materials that they give to your child. These extra charges should not be considered as part of the service fees. Make sure that you understand all fees in writing. If you have made it this far and you still feel overwhelmed by the selection of tutors that are available to you, then you may want to consider hiring a tutor to help your child. This way, you will not be forced to make a choice. Try online tutoring and find the right tutor to help your child develop a passion for learning.

It can also be used as a resting pose and strength-builder for the moments between movements.Downward-facing dog pose is also a wonderful way to stretch out and relax, as it straightens the spine and stretches out your limbs, abs, buttocks and shoulders. When Should I Apply to Medical School
When Should I Apply to Medical School Deciding toapplyto medical school can be stressful and time-consuming. However, with careful planning, you can successfully manage this processas well as your classes, extracurricular activities, MCAT prep, and social responsibilities. You must: meet with your schools pre-medical adviser, sit for the MCAT, request letters of recommendation (LORs), and complete the application itself. This consists of the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) system, secondary applications, and interviews. The below timeline references your junior year of college, and it assumes that you plan to attend medical school immediately after graduation. Create a calendar Print a month-by-month calendar on several sheets of paper, and annotate it with important deadlines. You may also wish to include proximity alerts, which remind you of upcoming dates. Place the calendar in a highly visible locationabove your computer is an excellent choice. Remember to print a physical calendar! While your deadlines will not change, you do not want to click or tap several times to view a date. Additionally, little feels as wonderful as crossing out a task that you have completed. You may also want to check out these tips on how to decide which medical school is right for you. Meet with your adviser in the fall Most schools have a pre-health, pre-medical, or pre-professional adviser. Advisers become extremely busy during the spring semester, so schedule an appointment with him or her in the early fall. If your adviser understands your situation, it will be much easier for him or her to answer a brief question for you in the spring. Ask for letters of recommendation in early spring Approach professors who know you well in one of two ways: if you had a pleasant experience with a professor, but you do not plan on continuing your interaction, ask for a letter of recommendation immediately after the class ends. If this is likely to be an ongoing relationship (i.e. a professor in a small department that concerns your major, or one with whom you will do research), ask between January and March. Recognize that professors are not always available. Is your favorite professor going on sabbatical? Inquire, and note their dates of availability on your calendar. Here are some great tips for asking for a medical school letter of recommendation. Sit for the MCAT and submit your application in late spring/early summer Complete the MCAT between April and June. This way, if you must retake it, you can devote one to three months to preparing. Be realistic about the amount of time you require to review, as well as whether you need an MCAT tutor. It is possible to improve your score, but it involves time and hard work. Certain programs utilize rolling admissions, so apply to medical school early! AMCAS opens during the first week of May. Submit your biographical information, coursework, letters of recommendation, personal statement, and test scores in June. Secondary applications are issued by individual medical schools. These require several short essays in response to specific prompts. Write down any deadlines associated with secondary applications on your calendar. Attend interviews and commit to a school in your senior year Certain programs grant interviews as early as August. However, most will do so in the fall and winter months. In general, schedule them as early as possible. Keep in mind that you may find it wise to begin with those schools that are not your first choice, in order to practice. Here is some great information on medical school interviewsthat you may find helpful. If you receive an acceptance letter, make your decision carefully. By mid-spring of your senior year, you must accept one medical schools offer. If you are waitlisted, notify the school of changes to your application (i.e. an improved MCAT score). As you may realize, there is a great deal to do, as well as a deceptively long time in which to do it. Applying to medical school early may improve your chance of success, so submit your materials in June. This is the first step in a lifetime of work that is not possible without excellent time management, so give yourself plenty of leeway, follow your handwritten schedule, and you will be surprised at how much less stressful this year can be.
How to Get the Vocal Range of Famous Singers
How to Get the Vocal Range of Famous Singers Sign up successful 1. Chest Voice Our chest voice is our main voice and typically is where we sing the notes we are comfortable singing. Chest voice for men typically is lower than a chest voice for women. Most famous female singers sing in chest voice â" the easiest for them. However, most famous male singers sing in their mixed voice. 2. Mixed Voice Mixed voice is the voice above the chest voice; here, men are able to sing higher notes (think Chris Brown and Trey Songz). Notes in mixed voice for women are typically higher than chest but not as powerful as their full voice (most famous female singers do not typically use their mixed voice very much). 3. Falsetto Both men and women have falsetto â" although many women typically donât sing in falsetto. Most people do not count falsetto as part of their vocal range, but a falsetto can still be very useful; if youâre a man and canât sing certain notes, using falsetto to reach them can prove helpful. Male singers who use falsetto are Chris Brown and Justin Timberlake. Female singers who use falsetto are Leona Lewis and Beyoncé. Falsetto is basically your âfalse voiceâ and is what some people refer to as your âgirl voiceâ when referring to male singers. 4. Head Voice Head voice is quite uncommon among both male and female singers, and even rarer in male singers. Head voice is typically less than an octave and notes in this voice are high and powerful â" think Leona Lewis, Beyoncé, and Ariana Grande. Men can sing in head voice but typically cannot exceed its typical range â" up to about E6 â" while women can sing up to about G6 (like Ariana does), but it is highly recommended that you do not exceed its suggested range (G5 to E6). 5. Vocal Fry/Whistle Register Vocal fry is extremely rare in music and typically only used in country music. Vocal fry is typically only used by male singers and notes in this voice are very low. Whistle register is also extremely rare and for most people the only singer they know who can sing in whistle is Mariah Carey. Most people know very little about this voice and though many suggest you cannot sing in this voice â" especially men â" I think that anyone can reach this voice. Suggested Video: What is My Vocal Range? How to Expand Your Voice Anyone can expand their vocal range but it takes a lot of practice, time, and patience. I used to be able to only sing in chest voice and falsetto, but now I can sing in every voice that I mentioned â" I have around a 6.8-octave vocal range. If you want help expanding your range then just hire me as your tutor and Iâll help you expand it little by little with every voice lesson. Here are the steps well take: First step: Discovering your current vocal range is our first step. I will play a virtual piano, and you will sing each note I play (if you have mimicry then this will be easy) until we have found your vocal range. If you know your range already then we skip this step. Second step: We then discover your weak spots â" where your voice sounds weak, where you have trouble, and where you need help. After this we can then start expanding your vocal range. Third step: I will then teach you and give you tips and suggestions on how to sing lower or higher â" depending on what you want. Here is where our lessons will vary completely seeing as each student is different. Fourth step: Every time we discover a new voice I will teach you to bridge your voices together so there is no gap between them. Typically this is our last step with each voice. Working with a voice teacher is also key if youre trying to learn a particular song a professional instructor can give you specific tips and pointers to help you. For a great example, check out this tutorial for singing Christina Aguileras Beautiful by our friends at Mollys Music. Emmanuel M. teaches singing and songwriting exclusively online. Learn to Draw Anime Like a Professional. A Guide to Anime Drawing for Beginners. ChaptersThe Anime Art Style.Animating Your Anime Character. So, you are one of the millions of anime fans around the world. Youâve seen the classics like Neon Genesis Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop. Youâve been inspired by the manga of Fullmetal Alchemist, Attack on Titan, and Dragon Ball. And you love the work of Studio Ghibli, Toei Animation, and Kyoto Animation.Yet, you feel as though your love for anime and manga needs to find a new outlet. Youâve exhausted nearly everything that Crunchyroll or Funimation has to offer â" and your parents have told you off for watching too much Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. You want to get a bit more creative.Thatâs easy enough.Japanese animation â" the thing we know as anime â" is one of the most distinctive styles on the planet, recognisable at all times. And to replicate this style â" and to add elements of your own creativity â" is merely a case of breaking down its elements. And, ultimately, practising hard.If you can imagine yours elf as a character designer for Gainax, creating some of the most popular anime characters of the future, or producing a new anime series all by yourself, itâs that last point thatâs going to matter. You ainât gonna get anywhere without putting a lot of time into it.If youâre not this serious, then you have it easier. If you have just watched Death Note, Code Geass, and Mobile Suit Gundam and want to try to replicate these images yourself, then letâs get going.Letâs see how to begin to draw like a Japanese anime master. Youâd know almost immediately that any of the characters from a manga series or from any anime shows are from this particular style. This applies right across the board â" from Hayao Miyazaki to Osamu Tezuka, from Yoshiyuk i Tomino to Akira Toriyama. Whilst all of these artists have very different styles, many of the features of their work are similar. And it is these features that youâll need to get to grips with if you are going to be an anime or manga artist yourself. But what is it that defines these artworks? Letâs take a look.Find out about some of the most popular anime series! The Big Hair. Now, youâll find very few anime characters that do not have incredible hair. This will usually be big, unconventionally coloured, and will change quite dramatically from scene to scene.Apparently, the âwowâ factor of anime hair comes from the importance of the cover illustration in marketing manga books to kids. The most eye-catching, intriguing, and dramatic were the comics most likely to sell.As a result, the whole anime industry started competing in terms of hair â" just for the sake of making a striking cover. The Important Features. All good, but the thing you are asking is how to best to render this yourself in your own drawing. In short, youâre aiming for spikes, primarily, and youâre aiming for any style that will make the character look cool, interesting, or exciting. And then you have to think about how this hair is going to move from frame to frame. Because anime hair moves a lot â" and it expresses a lot through its movements. Finally, you need to consider seriously the colour that you are giving to your characterâs hair. Different colours have different symbolic meanings related to the nature of the character. In this way, blue is the colour of peace and calm â" or of coldness. Red is the colour of passion and aggression. So, think about this before you give your characterâs hair a colour. Itâs not just random! The Large Eyes.Perhaps the major characteristic of Japanese manga and anime is in the eyes. Youâll have noticed this well enough yourself. In anime, all of the character action takes place in the eyes, which are usually oversized (although, with Miyaz aki, they are not so much). They are given an emotional range and depth that is really quite striking for a single aspect of the cartoon face. The history of anime owes this particular characteristic to Osamu Tezuka, often referred to as the âgodâ of anime. His series back in the sixties â" most famously Astro Boy â" shaped the way that artists have drawn their characters ever since. This is consequently where you will need to pay most attention when you are drawing your own anime characters.Read about the Japanese culture of anime whilst you are here!Gender. But remember that what is important here is that female characters often have different shaped eyes to the male ones. Compare Sakura, from Cardcaptor Sakura, to Goku from Dragon Ball. Whilst the female characters usually have wide, round eyes, the males get something of a more aggressive look through the use of straight lines. These convey something of determination, focus, and aggression. However, in moments of confusion, na ivety, or surprise, regardless of the gender, the eyes open wide. The iconic 'magical girl' anime, SakuraEmotion. The animators of the best anime series pay a lot of attention to the emotional range and depth with which they endow their characters. Anime characters should not just be empty shells that speak â" as they often are in western film. Rather, they should have a realistic and engaging development, as well as an incredibly likeable side. When drawing your anime characters then, you need to be able to give them a range of different emotions. And youâre going to be doing this through the eyes, through the movements of the hair, and through a series of recognisable tropes from which you will be borrowing. The eyes, as we have said, are the important bit â" and some psychologists have argued that this is because, in Japan, the eyes are, outside of anime, the centre of emotional expression. Across the range of emotion, youâll need to create a different eye.Emotional Tropes.Yet, the eyes work in tandem with the wide range of tropes used throug h anime to express different emotions. There is one for pretty much everything, from embarrassment to arousal, from intensity to confusion. In panic, characters often lift off the floor and their facial features disappear. When angry, the characters are drawn surrounded by black lines. And when in pain, parts of a characterâs body will swell or will have a crossed plaster. For more of these tropes, check out Morisaki Norimiâs âHow to Draw Mangaâ series.Youâll have to get used to these. But, ultimately, you will be able to use them with surprising and hilarious effect.Moe.Thereâs one final thing to consider in relation to the emotional capacity of the character. Thatâs moe, a Japanese slang term referring to the feeling of affection â" or attraction â" to a particular character.Youâll have noticed that many of the characters from anime â" particularly the âmagical girlâ category of character â" are unbelievably cute. This is deliberate, and this is what is known in Japan as moe. Itâs deliberate because it is a useful tool in making anime popular. Cuteness sells. Think of Pikachuâs shape and smile â" this is moe. Or the large of eyes of many female anime characters. One of your characters from your own anime will benefit from sharing some of these features.Animating Your Anime Character. All of the above holds well enough for manga characters. But whilst manga is the still, page-based version of this most famous of Japanese artistic styles, anime requires some movement. It is animated after all.For any of you that have tried to produce animations yourself in the past, this complicates things a little. Obviously.Yet, youâve chosen a great style with which to practise your animation. Because anime uses one of the simplest styles of animation around.Back in the day, in the earliest moments of anime, animators such as Tezuka were looking for cheap and quick ways to animate their characters. This, apparently, was due to his working with a g roup of inexperienced staff â" on a tight schedule. However, the animation technique stuck. And this, again, has become one of the most characteristic features of anime. You can't create anime if you can't draw manga!âLimited AnimationâIn comparison to Disneyâs âfull animationâ techniques, anime has traditionally done something a little bit different. And this is all down to the things called âcelsâ.Cels, used up until the beginning of this century, are transparent sheets â" or celluloids â" upon which a frame of the animation is drawn. These need to be pretty much unique, as they are things that tell the story.Whilst âfull animationâ would use something like eighteen different cels a second in their animations, limited animation used much fewer â" say eight, or even less.Whilst the animations themselves were consequently not as fluid, this didnât really matter. Because, the idea went, if you suggest that movement is happening, the audience will receive that impression. And more cels just means more work.Consequently, Japanese animation was much more cost effective. Because whilst Disney would produce, say, twenty thousand cels per half an hour episode, limited animation cut that to about two thousand. So, sit yourself down. Just another 1999 frames to draw!
